Children's Story Time - every Tuesday at the Jackson Parish Library at 4:00 p.m.
Jackson Parish Heritage Museum - Open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Afternoon Golf Scrambles - Every Tuesday at Advance Country Club (Tee time at 5:30 p.m., call by 5 if you can play), Food served afterward
'Paws of the Pines' Humane Society - every 3rd Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Library
Square-Dancing every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the McDonald Center
February:
- "Smart Portion" weight and meal-management class every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Library
- Technology Tuesdays at the library at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (must call to register)
- 2nd - Jackie Greggs concert at the Community Center at 7:00 p.m.
- 6th - 'Teen Advisory Group' (T.A.G.) meeting for anyone grades 8-12 at the library at 4:30 p.m.
- 8th - LSU AgCenter Body Walk at Soutside School
- 12th - Jackson Parish Private Pesticie Applicator Recertification meeting at the AgCenter office at 5:00 p.m.
- 13th - Monthly Chamber Board meeting at 12 noon at Don Mariachi's in Hodge
- 15th - Todd Martin, Elvis tribute artist, will perform at the library at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- 16th - 'Paws of the Pines' monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the library
- 17th - LSU AgCenter 4-H Foods Festival at the Community Center at 1:00 p.m.
- 23rd - Chamber after Hours at the Community Center hosted by RockTenn at 5:00 p.m.
- 29th - 'Good Books, Good Friends' will discuss Family Tree at the library at 2:00 p.m.
March:
- 12th - Monthly Chamber Board meeting at 12 noon at Don Mariachi's in Hodge
